Helicopter Crashes - Original HD footage
Whist erecting a seven story high structure to be used as a Christmas tree, the helicopters rotor struck a cable causing the aircraft to crash to the ground. The Pilot was helped from the crumpled wreckage with minor injuries. Both of my Panasonic P2HD camera's were recording at the same time, even though I go to reposition myself because I didn't like the look of the cable near the rotor, my camera I am carrying is still recording. My other static wide view camera caught me walking across the frame, you can see the guy tug on the cable just as I go past him. After the impact, and seeing that the wreck had not burst in to flames, I'm the guy in the yellow hi-vis, white hat and blue jeans that hops in to the cab to help get the unconscious pilot out along with the guy who originally pulled on the cable. I have removed the "comments" option as some people have been posting ridiculous messages, this was all just an accident, and by the grace of God, no one was badly injured.

Bethlehem Car v Bike Crash Hit and Run
Additional info on our blog here: bethlehempolice.wordpress.com This is an attempted hit and run accident that occurred on the Fahy Bridge in Bethlehem, PA on 4/2/12. The offending driver, a juvenile, attempted to pass a bus on the left and struck a bicyclist from behind. As the driver fled the scene, the bus driver blocked the bridge to prevent the person from fleeing. Another citizen also blocked the offending car's path. The driver was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses, including Pennsylania's latest law to protect cyclists that went into effect on this day. The lanes on the north bound side of the Fahy Bridge are each 10 feet in width. The lanes were reduced in size due to structural problems with the existing walkway. PennDOT created a secondary walkway and bicycles are not permitted to use this area. The cyclist was in the proper lane position due to the lane width. In a narrow lane, the cyclist is permitted, and is actually safer, by taking the entire lane. A motorist has plenty of room to pass the cyclist in the left lane. Had the cyclist been in the right portion of the lane and been struck by the car, he would most likely have suffered far worse injuries because of being pushed into the concrete barrier. Before you make insensitive comments, regardless of how you personally feel about the right of cyclists to use the roadway, remember that it is another human being and no one deserves to be struck by a car and left in the roadway.

PALM COAST, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol has charged a 76-year-old woman who drove her car through a busy Publix grocery store, injuring ten people, including a baby in a stroller. Officers charged Thelma Wagenhoffer of Palm Coast with careless driving after she slammed her 2004 Toyota Camry through the front door of the Publix at 4950 Belle Terre Pkwy. on Saturday. Investigators said they found no apparent problems with the car's brakes. Witnesses said the car appeared to be going about 50 miles per hour. Now, she'll have to explain to a judge what went wrong and has a mandatory court appearance set due to the severity of the injuries. Surveillance Video: Car crashes into...
