Late last week President Obama signed The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order. This order gives him the authority to take hold of all of the US assets that are necessary to secure peace in times of war, essentially declaring martial-law in America. Many believe that this step was taken to prepare for a war with Iran. Reporters have questioned the Obama administration on if the recent move was in preparation for war with Iran, but the question was laughed off. Sanctions imposed by the US and European Union are starting to hurt the Iranians in a major way, as access to food and other imports have been blocked. The West in many ways is pushing Iran back to the bargaining table in terms of its nuclear program. In the meantime Israel is stepping up its threats claiming that an attack on Iran maybe imminient. But in the West's efforts to isolate Iran, India has announced it will send a delegation into Iran and has now emerged as the number one customer of the Iranian oil. There are new indications showing China will send in its officials. This global chess match looks like it maybe a long and messy one. The EU joins the US and Canada in sanctions against Iran for allegedly pursuing nuclear weapons.
