Tajikan -- Jalaluddin Balkhi - Rumi's last letter to Shams
Jalaluddin Balkhi was born to a Tajik family in Balkh in 1207. Tajik is synanym to Persian, its referred to eastern Iranian people who live in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzekistan and rest of central Asia. In Turkish areas of Iran, Turks refer to Persian speaking Iranians as Tajiks as well. Balkh was the most prominent city then in the Persian province of Khorasan,and its now in northern Afghanistan. In 1218 , Mavlana Balkhi's father moved away from his ancestorial land, Balkh, in order to avoid the warlike Mongols who were then conquering extensively under the leadership of their leader, Changiz Khan. The family travelled to Baghdad, to Mecca on pilgrimage, and to Damascus and eventually settled in Karaman near Konya in what is now western Turkey. Following this move to Konya, then the capital of the western Persianzed Seljuk Turks, Jalaluddin's father was busy as a theologian, teacher and preacher. Jalaluddin followed in this tradition and, upon his father's demise in 1231 succeeded to his post as a prominent teacher. This part of the world was then known to its inhabitants as Rum, a name derived from the Byzantine Roman Empire that had formerly held it. Anarkali(1955) This movie is Directed by Vedantam Raghavaiah.Music by Adinarayana Rao. This movie is the tamil dubbed version of telugu movie with same name. P. Shahenshah Jalaudin Akbar(SV Ranga Rao) is the grandson of Babbar, and the son of Humayun. He is known to have ruled over Hindustan with a humane and just heart. He knew in order to garner the support of the Hindus, he must treat them sensitively, allow them to worship freely, and in order to maintain this peace, he married Jodabai, a Hindu Rajput, the sister of Raja Man Singh. Through this marriage they became the proud parents of Shehzada Salim (Akineni Nageswara Rao). Akbar first met Nadira(Anjali Devi). in the Anar garden, while she was awaiting the arrival of her lover. So pleased he was with her that he wanted to reward her, but she only asked for an Anar, so he ended up bestowing her with the name of 'Anarkali'. He met her the second time when she was able to revive Salim, who was seriously wounded in a war in Kabul. Once again Akbar was pleased with her, wanted to reward her, but again she turned him down. The third time she ended up annoying Akbar when she sang and danced in his court under the influence of alcohol, and he has her imprisoned. The very foundations of Akbar's palace will be shaken to the roots, and his manner of meting out justice will be put to the extreme test, when he finds out that Salim is in love with Anarkali and wants to marry her.
