Tajikan -- Jalaluddin - Rumi in the west Balkhi in the east
Jalaluddin Balkhi was born to a Tajik family in Balkh in 1207. Tajik is synanym to Persian, its referred to eastern Iranian people who live in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzekistan and rest of central Asia. In Turkish areas of Iran, Turks refer to Persian speaking Iranians as Tajiks as well. Balkh was the most prominent city then in the Persian province of Khorasan, and its now in northern Afghanistan. In 1218 , Mavlana Balkhi's father moved away from his ancestorial land, Balkh, in order to avoid the warlike Mongols who were then conquering extensively under the leadership of their leader, Changiz Khan. The family travelled to Baghdad, to Mecca on pilgrimage, and to Damascus and eventually settled in Karaman near Konya in what is now western Turkey. Following this move to Konya, then the capital of the western Persianzed Seljuk Turks, Jalaluddin's father was busy as a theologian, teacher and preacher. Jalaluddin followed in this tradition and, upon his father's demise in 1231 succeeded to his post as a prominent teacher. This part of the world was then known to its inhabitants as Rum, a name derived from the Byzantine Roman Empire that had formerly held it. Jalaluddin is known in the west as - Rumi - derived from Rum. Maulana Rumi.. poetry of life, love and dust.farsi english
Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi..poetry of life, form, formation and dust..farsi dari english.. o, worshiper of form, form does appear' as if its two dead eyes were looking. thou shall show reverence for the eyes of the image asking and wonders why it respond to thee not.. why is this beautiful image irresponsible and answers not my salaam;wish upon you be peace.it moves not its head and mustache in generosity,in response to hundred frustrations are made before us.the divine shows us. although it move its head awkwardly in response,to bestow spiritual delight within, which is worth two hundred nodding of the head. thou service the intellect with exertion, the response of the intellect is to increase thy guidance on the straight path.awkwardly the divine truth does not nod its head to be,but to make us believe the head of the heads of the world..God bestow on us something in secret, which make the people of the world before thee bow.in the same way that ye give stone a virtue, which make it dear to the world,ie gold.. if a drop of water gains God's favor,it become a pearl out performing gold.. the body is dust, when God shed upon its divine spark it become a master, conquering the world like the moon.. beware! this world is a talisman(possessing occult powers) and a dead image, its eyes has lead the fools astray, from the straight path.. ...... .......Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi....... .....

Mawlana Jalal-ad-Din Muhammad Balki-(Rumi) Poem
Poem from the Mathnavi I, 2930, with Corelli Adagio, concerto grosso op.6 The poem reads: Passing, passing. The blossom gives way to the fruit. Both are necessary. One passes into another. Bread exists to be broken, to sustain its purpose. The grape on the vine is wine in the making, Crush it, and it comes alive. This poem has been a great inspiration for me, and I hope whoever reads it will find it also an inspiration.

RUMI--short biography -Maulana Jalaludeen Rumi-Sufi Master
EXCUSE THE MUSIC..IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE --------------------------------------------------------------------------- A SUFI MASTER WHO HAD TRUE LOVE FOR ALLAH (SWT) MAULANA RUMI DID NOT SPREAD HOMOSEXUALITY AMONGST THE SUFI'S----..WHY WOULD A SPIRITUAL MASTER LIKE MAULANA RUMI(ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM) DO THAT????? ----PLEASE TAKE YOUR KNOWLEDGE FROM AUTHENTIC SOURCES NOT FROM YOUR OWN THOUGHTS & OPINIONS, HEARSAY & INACCURATE SOURCES AS THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR YOUR IMAAN(FAITH)...MAULANA RUMI WAS A FRIEND OF ALLAH..IF YOU SAY OR DO ANYTHING AGAISNT THE FRIEND OF ALLAH..THEN ALLAH DECLARES WAR ON YOU,,, FINALLY..LOVE FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH HOMOSEXUALITY.... want evidence? go to... www.dar-al-masnavi.org furthermore:You asked about the relationship between Hazrat-e Mevlana and Hz. Shamsu 'd-din of Tabriz. First of all, it is necessary to understand that in Persian sufi poetry, the word "lover" [`âshiq] means being a lover of God. And in the paths of sufism that view the mystic seeker as the lover and God as the Beloved, it means a true dervish. Therefore, "the lovers" are the lovers of God. So in this sense Mevlana and Shams certainly were "(spiritual) lovers." ..on other words they loved each other for the sake of Allah...those who love one another for the sake of Allah will be under the shade of Allah, on the day of qiyamah; Hope this helps to resolve popular misconceptions about the relationship between Hazrat-e Mevlana (Rumi) and ...

I am not roaming aimlessly around your streets and bazaar, rather searching for his Beloved ................... forever, I am that kind of a lover. drunk with the wine of longing around the Beloved is my strolling. God have mercy on me! troubled, here I am roaming. I've done wrong and sinned, wounded now am I walking. Though your eyes see me drunk, glance with your heart and you'll find me perfectly sober.

The video shows the Call for Maghrib (Sunset) prayers (Maghrib Adhan or Aa'zan or Ezan) from Konya, Turkey, on September 30th, 2007 (the 800th birthday of Maulana Rumi). The call for prayer (Adhan) emanates from the Sultan Selim Mosque (In Turkish known as Sultan Selim Camii).
