I was certainly very surprised with what I got considering this Halo stuff is set at a much lower price than Lego. Where I live Lego is basically double the price as seen in the USA, and that's weird as our dollar is stronger than the USD at the time of making these videos. I consider this more of a practice or warm up map more than anything but I like how it turned out. It took place on and above the planet Earth and across the Sol System from October 20, 2552 to November 17. The UNSC Home Fleet consisted of 3 fleets of 90 Halcyon and Valiant-class cruisers, 8 carriers, and 300 Frigates, 30 destroyers, Destroyers, and thousands of Longsword Interceptors. The Prophet of Regret arrived out of slipspace with the Fleet of Sacred Consecration - 2 Assault Carriers and 13 CCS-class battlecrusiers. Moscow says it had no other option but use its veto right, claiming the draft didn't realistically reflect the situation in Syria, and a result could have sent an unbalanced signal to all sides of the conflict. "The Russian delegation was forced to vote against this draft resolution. We seriously regret this outcome of our joint work," stated Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin. Russia and China were the only voting members to oppose the draft. And as permanent members of the UNSC, they had the option to use veto power to block the draft's passage. I though I'd post this short animation to make up for the lack of videos until the Keyes Loop is completed. The Keyes Loop, for those of you that haven't read the books, is a maneuver by Captain Jacob Keyes in which he takes on a small Covenant battlegroup (consisting of a Destroyer, a Carrier, and two Firgates) with one ship: the UNSC destroyer "Iroquois". Also, for those of you who read this far, I'm considering voicing Captain Keyes for some of the dialogue since it would be rather bland without voice. Based on previous voice overs I've done, would it sound appropriate for the Keyes Loop, or would it be preferable to just have voice from the games? Also I apologize for the FPS lag near the end, I slowed down the clip because It was unrealistic to have frigates moving so fast, but the consequence of that was a slightly visible FPS drop. The statements by the league and Western governments were delivered in a high profile council meeting in New York attended by several government ministers and a high-ranking delegation from the Arab League.
