As a girl my society looked to me as a poor and week creature. I was always given this thought that I have to leave my father's home one day and have to learn all household affairs in order to be called a good wife or survive in a man's home. But, thanks to my family for supporting me as a human. Now I am proud of my self that I have the realization of our people's situation in this era. I am very interested in my Hazaragi culture and try to share my part in its survival as a nation's culture. I believe in humanity, in fact, never wish any nation superior. In my childhood, which I spent in Pakistan and Iran , I did not get much opportunity for doing cultural and social activities. But, since I have come to Australia , I can see lots of pave ways to achieve my goals and dreams to serve my Hazara sisters and brothers. The activities that I have done since I have been living in Australia are: 1. I am member of HAZARA STAR, the Hazaragi cultural group in Australia since 2005. Since its inception it has successfully participated and performed in many festivals and functions, based on speeches, traditional dances etc. 2. Realizing that I am a Hazara girl compelled me to do some social work and join Associations and Societies. I have performed in two video clips of Taqi khan's album (MOGHUL DOKHTAR). The video clips Tashki Tashki and Dokhtar e Bamyan that I acted in, actually hit the arrow of my goals and dreams where I sign. However I am not much interested in media, dancing or <b>...</b>

HazaraStar performing in Australia
Hazara star is a newly formed art group in Griffith city of Australia Hazara star is a volunteer student group which is consist of boys and girls that uses the language of media and blended states of performance in a unique form to build a strong and respectful group and to be active and participate in the challenging and diverse multicultural society of Australia in order to introduce our unique culture with positive and reputable attitude and promote art awareness for the Hazara students and the wider community. Hazara star performs and works in the form of drama, traditional dance, music specially Damboora, movie editing, installation of different kinds of traditional and cultural functions, and as well as holding exhibition. Since its inception has successfully participated and performed in many festivals and functions the pictures and reports were published in Australian news papers and magazines. farkhonda
