Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf will create Hazara province after coming into Power:-
Full Coverage of PTI Jalsa Haripur: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that Hazara would be made a province along with others after coming to power. Addressing a public meeting at Khanpoor Hazara, he announced his heartfelt condolences with the families of those who laid their lives for the cause of Hazara province. He said that sacrifices of Shuhada-e-Hazara province movement would not be allowed to waste at any cost. He said there were over 40 provinces in various countries where people had high standard of living. Imran Khan promised that he would give a new concept of Pakistan in a meeting to be held in Karachi on December 25. On the occasion, Raja Shadab Khan, former district nazim Yousaf Ayub Khan, former MPA Faisal Zaman and dozens of other former union councils nazims joined the PTI. He said Pakistan was rich in resources and it only needed an honest and sincere leadership, adding that the masses should not vote for those who had made their property and bank accounts abroad. Imran said the new Pakistan programme would aim at bringing prosperity, jobs for the youth and attracting investment in the country. He said on coming to power, PTI would bring an end to extravaganza of the rulers, everyone would be brought to the tax net and eliminate corruption.

Hazara community finds peace in Peshawar
The ethnic group Hazara make up about 18 per cent of Afghanistan's population, but many have been forced to flee persecution and war in their country. More than half a million Hazaras now live in Pakistan, but there too they have been targeted by religious extremists for their Shia Muslim beliefs. In Balochistan, where most of Hazaras reside, the group Lashkar-e-Jangvi has declared an open war against them. At least 90 Hazaras have been killed since July 30. But the historic city of Peshawar in the northwest has welcomed them with open arms, and trade seems to be thriving for many members of the small community. Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports.

Australia's got talent, Hazara Refugee artist Ghulam Sakhi Hazara
After a terrible journey by boat Sakhi arrived in Australia in September 1999. He was then detained for nearly 15 months in Port Hedland Detention Centre and got released in December 2000. Sakhi was born in late 1976 in Afghanistan. He was very young when his family fled to Pakistan because of war & persecution in Afghanistan. he was interested in art since his childhood but unfortunately he did not have good opportunities to improve his artistic skill from that time. He was ignored by his father and uncles, and they always discouraged him. Sakhi works with multiple mediums including pencils, watercolour, oil , acrylic, pastel, airbrush etc. He is also a photographer and Graphic artist/Designer. His style is Realism, Surrealism, Symbolism & Photo realism and recently invented in 2004 his own style which he calls "HAZARAISM". In 2002, he worked for Warner Brothers Movies in Movie World Studios (QLD) as a Prop Illustrator on the film, "The Last Man". Sakhi has also worked on many Art & Community projects and designed a magazine called "Ashiana" for the Hazara community in brisbane and Hazaragi calander in 2005 & 2008. Sakhi has played as a main character in a short film about a refugee life called Musafiri. He also had a short documentry film made about his art. entitled "Portrait of Sakhi". He has participated in a few art competitions in Australia and received 1st & 2nd prize in the Grand Art & Literature Competitions 2002 & 2003 (Canberra) for drawing, and a Highly <b>...</b>

In the wake of 2011 attacks on Shia Hazaras of Quetta, the people of Pakistan, and human rights groups around the world should take notice of this dire situation, and act swiftly to prevent it from being a humanitarian crisis to a full fledged genocide.
